Filmfestival zu Ehren von Jim Clark

(Motorsport-Total.com) - Im britischen Witney wird von 23. bis 24. Februar ein Filmfestival zu Ehren des legendären Jim Clark stattfinden. Die Veranstalter wollen im Rahmen dessen historisches Bildmaterial aus der Rennfahrerkarriere des zweifachen Weltmeisters zeigen.

Außerdem werden einige Redner von Clarks einmaliger Laufbahn erzählen, darunter ehemalige Designer und Mechaniker des Lotus-Teams.

The Jim Clark Film Festival is a new event taking place on February 23rd and 24th 2008 near Witney, Oxfordshire.

The original plan had been to run the event for just one day but such has been the response from those wishing to attend that we have added a second day to the programme.

It is intended that this will become an annual event for enthusiasts of the history of motor sport.

The inaugural Festival will celebrate the life of Jim Clark, the great Scottish racing driver who was World Champion in 1963 and 1965 and whose last race victory was on February 25th 1968 - almost 40 years ago to the day that the Festival will take place.
Tickets for the Festival are now on sale. We look forward to receiving your booking and to meeting you at the event itself.
