Damit kehre ich an den Schauplatz meines ersten Onlinerennens überhaupt zurück - bin allerdings noch unsicher, in welchem Auto.
Im Eagle Team darf man ja für einen Mod ein anderes Auto wählen. Ferrari hab ich (natürlich aus historischen Gründen ) ausprobiert, 1:18.40. Aber ich weiß noch nicht, ob ich nicht doch den Eagle nehme und dafür diesen ätzenden BT 7 ersetze.

Hi Uwe,

die Chassiswahl ist nach der Aufteilung der 66Mod Wagen in 2 Leistungsklassen geändert worden.
In den GPL Rules steht:

Als wir zu Beginn 2007 davon ausgingen, dass der 66 Mod bald käme, und im Eagle Team mit dem BT7 und dem zunächst nur vorgesehenen 4 Zylinder Eagle Climax zwei schwächere Wagen im Team wären, machte die Regelung eine zusätzliche Autowahl zu haben Sinn.
Jetzt haben wir den Nachteil des Eagle Climax aber dadurch ausgeglichen, dass er nicht gegen die überlegenden 3 Liter Wagen der Division 1 fahren muss sondern dank der geknackten Limitierung auf 7 Autos im Eagle Team auch der Weslake V12 verfügbar ist.. So verbleibt im Eagle Team nur noch der BT7 als vermeidlich (?) schwaches Chassis. Wobei ich bezweifle , dass der BT7 im einzigen 65er Rennen in Clermont tatsächlich benachteiligt ist. Und mit den verfügbaren addons ist er mittlerweile sogar recht schön anzusehen.

Nach den 2008er Regeln gibt es also keine Option auf ein zusätzliches Chassis für den geneigten Eagle Fahrer .
Zum Trost verweise ich auf demnächst hier bei RSL exclusiv präsentierte akustische und optische (!! definitiv photoreal und m.M unter allen grafikaddons von cockpits unerreicht ) Verbesserungen der Eagle Familie, die Dich sicher für den BT7 mehr als entschädigen werden.

Thx Wolfgang, I never noticed...  There are probably other GPLers who don't pay attention to your schedule until reading the mail, because they already take part to several championships and have many forums to read...

Maybe I'll be there for Spa 66, but I don't know what means division 2 here, can you explain ?  Are there limitations to sign in for such races ?  Or perhaps is there somewhere a general rule specifically written for all external pilots who don't take time to read the whole website like me

First you have to choose one of the Teams (see below) for the whole season

the 66 cars a divided in two divisions :
Division one : The 3 Liter cars
Division two : the smaller ones

if a 66 race announced as a Division two race , the bigger 3 Liter cars are not allowed in the grid.
on the other Hand at a Division one race it is you free choice to take one of the bigger or one of the smaller cars.

Ok, danke Wolfgang,
für mich also der Eagle V12? Mir ist der recht, hätte ich als nächstes ausprobiert.

Nur mit dem BT7 habe ich noch nie Spaß gehabt - vielleicht auch (m)ein Einstellungsproblem. Aber das zählt deswegen nicht weniger - schließlich gibts fürs Simracen noch kein Geld, und Maso bin ich absolut nicht drauf

... aaaber das Rennen is ein Div II Rennen , also kein V12 hier sondern der 4 Cylinder Eagle S4

Edit: Habe eben ein paar Runden gedreht - weiß jetzt, was du mit "Enthusiasmus bremsen" meinst Bleibt noch der McLaren M2B, mal sehen wie der so ist.
