I have a GTP/VROC problem - EsbenT - 29.06.2007 21:01 PM

Whenever I fire up GTP, no matter if it's in single player or multi player mode, it tries to join the RSL server! Any idea what might be causing this and how I might go about fixing it?

Hi Esben

Get VROC (for Nascar/ GTP) in your next Trashcan.
It's only good for trouble.

I think it is much better to take a line with our Server-IP ingame in the Serverlist and start joining also only  from ingame.
With the right Password  you mostly get no problems by joining.

I wouldn't demonize VROC in general, despite our password probs. It's not a professional product (keep in mind it's free for that matter...) and may be a bit immature, but it's never caused any serious problems.

As for your trouble, Esben, I haven't been able to reproduce it. There are a few settings in GTP's core.ini and player.ini files that could be the cause for that. I'll post the sections of these files here that could be related to this problem, first up is core.ini:

It was the core.ini that was changed...I probably overlooked that minor detail when I installed VROC Toungue
