Here is the setups I used, improved my time a bit more after the race.
For me the car handles very good with this setup, no surprises.
Edit: did 1:26.33 with that setup a minute ago:)

If I'm home next race i will take the BT7.

Wolfgang, it's intersting that new 65 sounds.
I use your sounds already but I have some problem with the high revving engines, it starts cracking after a while on track.
Strange thing is I managed to get rid of that cracking long time ago but now when I start using the 65 cars again it's back.
Will have to check my computer settings I think.

First let me congrat for Your demonstration yesterday in Brands. That was the result of talent and intensiv preparation. I have to apologies myself because I hadn't the time to get the possible performance with my BRM. It should have been a bit closer, but I know that I was'nt able to beat You anyway. New race, new luck !? I realy was afraid of a heart attack when I came home at 20:45. I took my dinner while I had to start the server ...

Concerning the sound crackling You should read this Thread and in addition the FAQ of Bob Simson. We believe that we located the problem and sure the sounds will work proper on every PC.

The new 65 soundset will be made in consequence of the discussion in the RSC thread. On my old system they 're running smooth without any crackling.

Wolfgang.

Stefan,

yesterday after i received your setup i went for a testdrive and did manage a 1.27.4 with it after 6 laps.
So its no suprise that you drive that 1.26 supi

the setup is very good.....very oversteery at midcorner, so you have to control it by the throttle. Also the directness of the steering i did had to get used to it ( 1:7 ).

To give you even more choice you can try my sounds as well:

you can find them here:

Hey that BT26 is a weapon ! supi
The best part is the strong torque to accelerate the car out of the corners.
Good setup by stefan_S, but the 7:1 is to tight for the reactions of an old manTraurig

I changed some settings , so the steering ratio to 10:1 and some settings for the camper and tire pressure, because I get unequal temps in the middle of the front wheels and on th in and out sides. I allways watch the temps for long distances (took the test setup by Stefan ).
After changing it to my style I could manage a 27:42 within 10 laps. But if there is over one seconds more to reach for me, like  Stefan did ??? Great laptimes Stefan !supi

Have to see what the merged replays show me.

Wolfgang.

Thank you sound gurus for all work creating those soundsAnbeten
The sounds I'm not really happy with, is the 65 sounds, but i have not tried your latest sets yet, and first I have to get rid of this cracking wish appears with some carsounds.
I want to be able to choose the best sounding sound, not the one that give no cracks.

Tried the latency tool but no luck yet.
